Like I said in my instagram bio: I like to experiment on different art styles. (So my posts aren’t always the same things) I used my old set of Stabilo Pen 68 that I mostly ignore because I’m not too fond of solid bright colors. Mostly did this because I am testing my IFTTT recipes and I do not have anything available to share. I am very busy these days. #quicksketch #nopencil #noeraser #stippling #illustration #drawing #doodle #stabilo #stabilopen68 #artph

New Year, 2015: Don’t Drink Alcohol

Daycraft Signature Sketchbook A5, Drawings

The doctor said I shouldn’t drink alcohol while my wisdom tooth extraction site heals. 😦

I wanted to drink champagne.

This one I drew last night, in the last minutes of 2014.

Finished on 2015.

And so I drew the available liquors on the table. The champagne cork won’t fit anymore so we fitted a small plastic bag over it. . . until one of the wines was finished. We used the wine cork.

I can’t get my scanner driver to work today. I was supposed to scan and color this digitally. Right now this crappy photo will have to do.

Have a happy new year, everyone!

May this year be filled with lots of opportunities and pleasant surprises!

I hope every year gets better and better.

More blessings to come! 😀

An-Artwork-A-Day, Day 37: Gray

An Artwork A Day, Daycraft Signature Sketchbook A5, Events

Sorry, been busy. This is a very late post, and it’s a very quick drawing. I did this last May 15.

I’m still organizing an outreach with my friend —-well, we’re still in the process of gathering funds/money-making for the outreach which will be at a later date. Please check out our blog for more details:

Please also visit our facebook page. We could use some more likes. 😉

I mentioned before that we are gathering artworks as donations (we are going to sell them and then the proceeds will go to the project budget) I forgot to mention that we also accept artworks from artists outside the country if the person who wants to donate is willing to send the actual work here in the Philippines or if it is supposed to be in print form, we’ll be willing to print it ourselves. If transparency is a very big concern, don’t worry, we are very transparent about everything, we will make sure everyone knows where the money goes.

Here’s some of the artworks for sale. Some of those are my work. We also accept buyers from outside the country as long as they are willing to pay shipping fees. 🙂 As you can see, there’s not that many artworks yet, that is why we are still calling for donations and for art buyers. These are all for the sake of the children victims of the super typhoon Haiyan.

Right now we are also planning an event to further boost the project. I shall post about it as soon as we finalize it. Please stay tuned. It’s going to be good, we’re hoping for the best.

Tomorrow I’ll be attending an Art Show that I am a part of (one of the things I was busy about –making my art pieces. I made two.). I feel both excited and nervous as I don’t really know anyone there. Haha. I hope everything goes well. I shall post about it as soon as possible.

Throwback Thursday #7: Super Hero Fascination

Throwback Thursdays

I’ve always been a fan of super heroes, well, mostly X-Men and Spider-Man because I saw the cartoons when I was a kid. This is one of my made-up super-hero drawings. I can’t remember what her powers are supposed to be, but well, probably super strength (judging from the thing on her forearms) plus flight.

It’s nice I always write the exact date.

I drew this on one of my “universal notebook”s. It’s the time I draw almost all the time, but I don’t always have my sketchpad with me.
